Yoto’s Growth Team
Our Growth team is the engine behind Yoto's commercial success - connecting the right families to the right products through smart strategy, brilliant partnerships, and inspired marketing. Spanning acquisition, eCommerce, B2B, brand, content marketing and retention, this is a team of driven people who care deeply about outcomes and move fast to get there. As Country Manager for ANZ, you'll sit at the heart of this team - acting as the voice of the market globally, while owning end-to-end revenue growth strategy for the market.
What you’ll be doing:
Own the ANZ P&L: develop and manage financial forecasts, budgets and revenue plans across the Australian and New Zealand markets, identifying the highest-impact levers across channel strategy, pricing, promotions, and marketing to drive sustainable growth
Lead B2B partnerships end-to-end: identify, evaluate and prioritise prospective partners, leading from initial outreach through commercial negotiation, contract sign-off, and full onboarding; own the operational lifecycle for all ANZ B2B accounts including purchase orders, stock, invoicing, and 3PL coordination
Define and execute the ANZ marketing strategy: work in close collaboration with the local marketing team to shape strategy, then partner with global teams across PR, social, performance, brand and retention to deliver campaigns that land on time, on budget, and with genuine cultural resonance
Shape how Yoto shows up in market: coordinate with the Content team on localisation and curation of audio content for ANZ audiences, lead activation at trade shows and events, and partner with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure seamless product availability and delivery
Be the ANZ authority: monitor market trends, consumer behaviour and the competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making globally, and serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, partners and clients across the region
Drive cross-functional execution: work with global product, ops, and commercial teams to launch new products and campaigns in market, providing accurate demand forecasts and tracking channel revenue and sell-through performance.
What you’ll bring:
Demonstrable experience in a country management, commercial, or senior market leadership role - experience at a fast-growth startup or scale-up is a big plus
A proven track record of developing and executing business and marketing strategies in the Australian market, ideally spanning marketing, eCommerce, and B2B
Strong financial acumen, including hands-on experience with budget management, P&L responsibility, and data-driven decision-making
Demonstrated ability to build and manage B2B partnerships - from pipeline to contract - alongside deep experience in account operations and trade marketing
A natural collaborator who can lead cross-functional teams and hold their own with global counterparts, without needing a big team around them
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with experience working across brands, retailers, publishers, and content creators
Nice to have:
Experience coordinating content localisation or working with supply chain and operations teams in a market-facing role
A genuine passion for audio, kids' education, or family-oriented consumer tech.
Salary: AU$180,000 - AU$200,000 based on experience
What you can expect from Yoto:
Flexibility: Sydney based - hybrid working. Expectation to meet with the team one day a week in a Sydney CBD co-working space.
Financial: 11.5% Superannuation, Group Life & Disability policy - AU$50k with Allianz
Health & Wellness: Bronze cover (single) with Allianz
Time Off: 25 days of holiday per year, plus bank holidays. On top of this, you also receive your birthday off, plus 1 extra day of holiday for every year worked after you hit your 2 year anniversary, up to 5 extra days. After 4 years of service, you are also eligible for our sabbatical policy offering up to 3 months' of unpaid sabbatical.
Helping Families: Variety of family-friendly leave, including carers leave.
People & Planet: Up to 2 volunteer days per year. A Book Allowance of up to AU$100 a year to contribute to your professional development.
Fun Perks: You receive your very own Yoto player and starter pack of cards! And you'll get the chance to meet the global team at our annual YotoFest.
