B2B Account Executive (UK & IRE)

We’re looking for a commercially curious and highly organised B2B Account Executive on an initial 12 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) to support the growth of our B2B business across retail, trade, education, and wholesale partners in the UK & Ireland.

It’s a really exciting time to join Yoto–we are moving fast, and there is a lot to achieve. Having primarily grown through direct-to-consumer channels, we are now expanding our B2B offering (and there are no shortage of opportunities to do so!).

This role is ideal for someone with a couple of years’ experience in B2B or retail sales who wants to deepen their account management skills, learn how to scale partnerships, and play a key role in the day-to-day running of a fast-growing B2B channel. You’ll support key accounts, manage a portfolio of independent partners, and work cross-functionally to ensure smooth commercial execution.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support the execution of the B2B commercial strategy across retail, trade, education, wholesale, and B2B platforms

  • Manage a portfolio of independent and smaller retail partners, acting as their day-to-day commercial contact

  • Support independent account growth by researching prospects, qualifying leads, and managing smaller opportunities from first contact through onboarding and reorder

  • Assist with onboarding new partners, including account setup, approvals, and platform access

  • Support the B2B Lead on key account activity, promotions, range updates, and seasonal planning

  • Maintain and update sales trackers, reports, and dashboards for B2B and retail accounts

  • Track performance against budgets and targets, flagging risks and opportunities

  • Support forecasting and demand planning by gathering account-level insights and data

Operational & Administrative:
  • Manage the independent partner lifecycle from approval and onboarding through first order, smooth execution, and ongoing reorders ensuring accuracy across backend retailer systems and Shopify/B2B platforms.

  • Track invoices and payments in partnership with Finance, including chasing remittances and resolving credit or billing queries

  • Assist in resolving operational or commercial issues escalated by partners

  • Maintain partner catalogues, pricing uploads, and platform admin (Shopify)

  • Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to inform pricing, promotions, and product strategy

  • Support and participate in trade shows and industry events where required

Cross-functional collaboration and partner communication:
  • Work closely with Marketing to support newsletters, partner communications, and retail marketing initiatives

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Supply Chain to ensure efficient order flow and stock availability

  • Liaise with Content and Commercial teams on promotions, launches, and partner-specific activity

  • Build strong, long-term partner relationships through proactive and responsive communication

  • Assist with preparing presentations, sell-in materials, and partner updates

What you’ll bring:
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a B2B sales, retail account management, or commercial support role

  • Experience working with retailers, wholesalers, or trade partners (FMCG, Toys, Gifts, or Consumer Products a plus)

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail — comfortable juggling admin alongside commercial work

  • Proactive and curious about new technologies, with a willingness to embrace digital tools and AI to improve ways of working

  • Commercially curious with a desire to learn how accounts grow and scale

  • Confident with numbers, reporting, and basic sales analysis

  • Clear and professional communicator, both written and verbal

  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks

  • Collaborative team player who enjoys working cross-functionally

  • Interest in retail, B2B platforms, and emerging commerce tools

Nice to have

  • Passion for audio, content, or consumer technology is a bonus

  • Exposure to forecasting, POs, or stock planning

  • Experience creating newsletters or partner-facing communications


Salary:
£35,000 (12 month FTC)

  • Flexibility: Hybrid working - expectation of 1 day a week on average in our London office, but you are welcome to come in more than this. How you meet the minimum expectation is up to you, to ensure you're happy and productive in your role whilst also getting that vital face time with your colleagues.
