Senior Product Manager - Content Platform

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to build and evolve Yoto’s content platform and tooling, creating the systems that power how content is ingested, managed, enriched, and distributed across our ecosystem, enabling creators, publishers, and internal teams to deliver incredible audio experiences that millions of children and families can explore, discover, and enjoy.


About Yoto

Yoto is a screen-free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels - think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like this one.

Yoto’s Product Team

The Content Platform team is one of our “Mission Teams” at Yoto: cross-functional groups designed to operate as autonomously as possible. The team’s mission is to build the systems and tools that power how content is ingested, managed, enriched, and distributed across Yoto’s ecosystem.

From global publishers and independent creators to our own internal content producers, the Content Platform team enables everyone to bring high-quality audio experiences to life, at scale. We’re focused on making content operations smoother, smarter, and more automated: from ingestion and metadata management to licensing, moderation, and royalty tracking.

As Yoto expands globally, the platform will play a critical role in ensuring our catalogue scales with us, powering discovery, personalisation, and high-quality experiences for millions of children and families exploring, discovering, and engaging with amazing audio content




What you’ll be doing
:

    • Shape the product strategy and roadmap for Yoto’s Content Platform, defining the systems, tools, and KPIs that enable us to scale the volume, quality, and efficiency of content (both physical and digital) across our ecosystem.

    • Build the foundations that enable more diverse audio experiences for millions of families.

    • Own and evolve the end-to-end content pipeline, from ingestion, structuring, and enrichment to publishing, rights management, and performance insights, ensuring it’s seamless, scalable, and reliable.

    • Develop tools and workflows that serve a wide range of users, from major publishers and independent creators to Yoto’s internal content and editorial teams.

    • Partner with engineering, data, and design to deliver technically robust systems that make complex content operations intuitive and automated.

    • Collaborate closely with content, operations and community teams to turn manual processes into scalable, self-serve capabilities.

    • Influence how content is organised, discovered, and surfaced across Yoto’s platform, working with our discovery, marketing, and data teams to drive engagement and reach.

    • Leverage AI and automation to enhance metadata, streamline moderation, support localisation, and optimise how content is delivered globally.

What you’ll bring:

    • Proven experience in senior product roles, ideally building 0→1 or platform products that support different forms of content

    • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and thriving in a fast-moving, scaling environment — able to bring structure, clarity, and momentum even when priorities shift or information is incomplete. Resourceful, proactive, and excited by the challenge of building systems and teams as they grow.

    • Strong product judgement - you know how to make trade-offs, set clear priorities, and align product bets with company strategy.

    • Comfortable working with backend systems and data pipelines (not just consumer UI) and understand how to make technical complexity manageable for users.

    • Evidence of driving product KPIs, not just shipping features - you care about impact and have the storytelling skills to bring people with you.

    • Confident working directly with users to surface insights and co-create better experiences.

    • Confident leading discovery work - from identifying user needs to validating solutions and shaping MVPs.

    • Experienced working cross-functionally with engineering, commercial, content and community teams to drive outcomes.

    • Experience building self-serve platforms or automating complex workflows to empower users and reduce manual processes.

    • Excited by the potential of AI and emerging technologies to enhance product experiences.

    • A thoughtful communicator who brings teams and stakeholders along the journey.

    • Passionate about building great products for families, with a keen sense for balancing business goals with user needs.



Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 based on experience. We never want to miss out on great candidates, so don’t let our banding put you off reaching out - there’s sometimes flexibility for the right fit



What you can expect from Yoto:

  • Flexibility: Hybrid working - expectation of 1 day a week on average, but you are welcome to come in more than this. How you meet the minimum expectation is up to you, to ensure you're happy and productive in your role whilst also getting that vital face time with your colleagues. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.
