We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team to take the helm of the Creator Tools cluster.

Yoto is a screen-free interactive audio platform for kids. We make carefully connected audio players that kids control, with no microphones, cameras or ads. We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels - think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. We also create Yoto Originals like this one.

Yoto’s Product Team
The Creator Tools team is one of our “Mission Teams” at Yoto. These are cross-functional teams designed to operate as autonomously as possible. Creator Tools is all about empowering creators to publish and sell their own audio content on Yoto - helping us grow our content range and reach more families through a thriving open platform.
There’s a huge opportunity ahead to make creation on Yoto smoother, smarter and more rewarding. Our focus is on removing friction in the creator journey - from uploading and editing audio products to managing publishing and sales performance. We're also laying the groundwork for new features and tooling that give creators more control, visibility, and impact.
As we scale our creator ecosystem and expand globally, we’re working to ensure our platform can support that growth - boosting discovery of creator content, increasing the share of direct sales from creators, and ultimately bringing more families to Yoto through their unique contributions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Shape the product strategy and roadmap for Creator Tools - defining the KPIs that drive both quality and quantity of content contributed.
- Help prove one of Yoto’s biggest bets - that creator-contributed content can transform our product proposition. Starting with audio, we’re aiming to dramatically expand the range and richness of content available to families through a thriving open platform.
- Own and evolve the contributor journey end-to-end - from uploading and structuring content to publishing and performance insights. Your focus will be on making the experience intuitive, scalable, and rewarding.
- Build for a wide range of contributors - from independent musicians and storytellers looking to reach new audiences, grandparents recording bedtime stories on a Make Your Own card to supporting our own internal teams making additions to the ‘card store’
- Work closely with engineering, data, and design to build tools that are as technically robust as they are delightful to use.
- Collaborate closely with our community and marketplace teams, who hold close relationships with early creators - helping turn manual support into scalable systems.
- Influence how creator content is surfaced and supported across the wider platform, partnering with our demand generation and content teams to drive visibility and sales.
- Explore how AI and automation can be used to enhance contributor experience, uphold content quality, and streamline moderation.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in senior product roles, ideally building 0→1 or platform products that support user-generated content, marketplaces, or creative tooling.
- Strong product judgement - you know how to make trade-offs, set clear priorities, and align product bets with company strategy.
- Comfortable working with backend systems and data pipelines (not just consumer UI) and understand how to make technical complexity manageable for users.
- Evidence of driving product KPIs, not just shipping features - you care about impact and have the storytelling skills to bring people with you.
- Confident working directly with users to surface insights and co-create better experiences.
- Confident leading discovery work - from identifying user needs to validating solutions and shaping MVPs.
- Experienced working cross-functionally with engineering, commercial, content and community teams to drive outcomes.
- Experience building self-serve platforms or automating complex workflows to empower users and reduce manual processes.
- Excited by the potential of AI and emerging technologies to enhance product experiences.
- A thoughtful communicator who brings teams and stakeholders along the journey.
- Passionate about building great products for families, with a keen sense for balancing business goals with user needs.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment - happy to roll up your sleeves, get stuck in, and help bring a new team to maturity.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with audio tooling and workflows (e.g. ffmpeg, mastering vs. normalisation), or a strong interest in developing expertise in this space.
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 based on experience
What you can expect from Yoto:
- Flexibility: Hybrid working - expectation of 1 day a week on average, but you are welcome to come in more than this. How you meet the minimum expectation is up to you, to ensure you're happy and productive in your role whilst also getting that vital face time with your colleagues. Take advantage of our ‘work from anywhere’ policy to work from a different location for up to 6 weeks every year. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.
