Operations Lead, APAC

As we expand our presence in APAC, we are looking to hire our first team member in Singapore to lead operations and logistics while also establishing and overseeing our small but growing Singapore office. This is a unique opportunity to establish a foundation in a critical region and contribute significantly to our global success, with a clear progression to Head of Operations as we grow.

We have a catalogue of audio that inspires creative play and learning with 1,000+ titles in our card store from top creators, publishers and labels - think Disney, Marvel, Roald Dahl and Universal Music. Yoto’s Operations Team

Our Operations team is at the heart of the company, with the mission to provide great service to all our customers - whether they are internal or external. Our Sales Operations and Logistics teams make sure all our products go where they are needed and when they are wanted, and to process all our orders without issue. The System Operations team ensures that all internal facing platforms, and our order processing platforms, run smoothly, and are continually optimised and automated to meet Yoto’s growing needs, both for customers but also all our colleagues. Our team members need to be outgoing, positive, administration-minded with a great eye for detail, proactive and team-minded who are able to communicate easily and effectively with colleagues.



What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain and logistics in APAC, including cross-border shipments, trade regulations, and logistical challenges.
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to optimise costs and efficiency.
  • Oversee coordination with manufacturing teams in China and South East Asia to align production, logistics, and delivery schedules.
  • Work with 3rd party supply chain partners and 3PL providers to optimise freight, improve supplier performance, and ensure best practices.
  • Establish and manage the Singapore office, including securing office space, local operational processes, and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensure seamless fulfilment of APAC trade orders (D2C and B2B) and compliance with regional trade and customs regulations.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, driving process improvements and scalable strategies to support growth.
  • Act as a bridge between the Singapore office, UK headquarters, and NYC office to ensure alignment with global strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in APAC, building relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at regional events and trade shows to build brand awareness and drive growth.

What you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in APAC.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore’s trade regulations and logistics landscape.
  • Proven track record in managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and optimising supply chain performance.
  • Experience setting up and leading small office teams, fostering collaboration, and defining roles in teams of 5-10 members.
  • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Experience collaborating with manufacturing teams in China to ensure operational alignment.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce logistics, digital tools, or technology-driven supply chain solutions.
  • Willingness to travel and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; certifications such as APICS, Lean Six Sigma, or PMP are a plus.

Salary: S$125,000 - S$140,000 based on experience

    • Flexibility: Remote working until the Singapore office is set up, after which it would be a choice-based approach, with a minimum of once a week. Summer Hours policy to use between the months of June and August.
