💼 The Role

As Head of Commercial, your responsibilities will include:

Building & Leading the Sales Organisation:

  • Build, manage, and scale a high-performing sales team

  • Improve and develop sales processes and playbooks that drive consistent performance

  • Set clear targets, KPIs, and accountability frameworks for the team

  • Coach and develop sales talent to maximise individual and team performance

  • Design compensation structures that align with business objectives and motivate peak performance

  • Forecast revenue accurately and manage pipeline health

Driving Revenue Growth & Conversion:

  • Own and optimise the full sales funnel from lead to closed customer

  • Continuously improve conversion rates at each stage of the customer journey

  • Partner with marketing to ensure high-quality lead flow and seamless handoffs

  • Test and scale new sales motions, offers, and channel strategies

Owning Customer Success & LTV:

  • Build a customer success function that drives retention, satisfaction, and advocacy

  • Develop and execute upsell and cross-sell strategies to maximise customer lifetime value

  • Own renewal and rollover processes to minimise churn

  • Implement customer health monitoring and proactive intervention strategies

  • Create feedback loops between CS insights and product/marketing improvements

Owning Pricing & Packaging Strategy:

  • Develop and execute data-driven pricing strategies across all products

  • Design and test new pricing tiers, bundling options, and promotional strategies

  • Conduct pricing research and competitive analysis to optimise positioning

  • Partner with product and marketing to align packaging with customer needs and willingness to pay

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Work closely with marketing, product, and operations to align on growth priorities

  • Translate customer insights into actionable product and marketing recommendations

  • Collaborate with leadership team on overall business strategy and resource allocation

🔎 The Profile We're Looking For

You're a match for this role if you are/have:

A Strategic Commercial Leader:

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial strategy, sales leadership, revenue operations, or related roles

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth through pricing and packaging optimisation

  • Experience in B2C subscription businesses, EdTech, or high-growth tech companies preferred

  • Deep understanding of subscription economics, unit economics, and LTV optimisation

Pricing & Monetisation Expertise:

  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing pricing strategies that drive revenue

  • Strong understanding of behavioural and willingness-to-pay dynamics

  • Track record of launching successful upsell, cross-sell, and bundling strategies

Highly Analytical & Data-Driven:

  • Expert-level analytical skills with ability to extract insights from complex data sets

  • Proficiency in budgeting, cohort analysis and revenue forecasting

  • Experience with analytics tools, CRM systems, and business intelligence platforms

  • Ability to build robust measurement frameworks and dashboards

Commercially Creative:

  • Strategic thinker who can identify unconventional revenue opportunities

  • Experience designing innovative packaging and promotional strategies

  • Track record of testing and iterating to find winning commercial approaches

Cross-Functional Leader:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Ability to influence without direct authority and build consensus

  • Experience partnering with product, marketing, sales, and finance teams

  • Clear, data-backed communication style that drives decision-making

Execution-Focused:

  • Bias for action with ability to move quickly from analysis to implementation

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments

  • Process-oriented with strong project management skills

  • Hands-on approach balanced with strategic thinking
