About mattilda

mattilda is a Mexico City-based fintech/edtech startup aimed at becoming the financial hub for private schools in LATAM. Our core product is a guaranteed revenue solution, where schools receive a monthly fixed payment, while mattilda takes over their invoicing and collection processes. Co-founded by seasoned executives in the education and private equity industries, with experience in firms such as Lottus Education, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Advent International and Cerberus, and studies in Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School, and London Business School, mattilda is backed by leading global fintech and edtech investors, including Fintech Collective, Dila, QED, GSV, and Picus, among others.

About the role

As a Tech Analyst, you will be an integral part of our fast-growing team, directly impacting our strategy and operations. Working closely with the executive team, you’ll help drive innovation, optimize financial processes, and leverage technology to enhance mattilda's services. This is a dynamic, high-impact role that provides exposure to both finance and technology.

Responsibilities may vary, but can include:

· Develop and implement automation tolls to streamline finance-related process

· Supporting technology projects from inception to completion, including project planning, execution, and evaluation

· Identifying and mitigating technology-related risks and vulnerabilities

· Development and improvement of internal processes

· Ability to design and maintain efficient customer portal support and feedback channels

· Conducting research and analysis on emerging technologies and trends in the technology industry

· Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their technology needs and requirements

· Gathers facts and data to be used in the review of proposals which consist of objectives, scope, and user expectations

· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

· With or without work experience. Final-year students or recent graduates are welcome to apply.

· Advanced skills in Python 3.x and SQL, with experience in data manipulation and automation.

· Superior proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

· Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong ability to analyze data, propose innovative solutions, and lead projects with confidence.

· Strong interest for finance, financial technologies and automation is preferred
