Our core product offers a guaranteed revenue solution, providing schools with a fixed monthly payment while we handle invoicing and collections. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior UX Designer at Mattilda, you will:

• Lead Design Projects: Take ownership of the design process from research and ideation to prototyping and testing, ensuring user-centered design principles are at the forefront of our solutions.
• User Research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors, translating insights into impactful design strategies.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create seamless and engaging user experiences across our platform.
• Create Wireframes and Prototypes: Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
• Usability Testing: Organize and conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user insights.
• Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a coherent design system that enhances consistency and efficiency across products.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to other designers, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the team.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who:

• Experienced: Has 6+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in fintech, edtech, or related industries.
• User-Centric: Possesses a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Analytical Thinker: Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret user data to inform design decisions.
• Proficient in Design Tools: Is skilled in industry-standard design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
• Collaborative: Thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable working with cross-functional teams. Preferably has worked with dev teams and product/project tooling like Jira and ProductBoard, can drive projects
• Communicative and strong ownership: Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating design concepts and rationale effectively.
