Welcome to Mattilda! We are a Mexico City-based fintech/edtech startup aimed at becoming the financial hub for private schools in LATAM. Our core product is a guaranteed revenue solution, where schools receive a monthly fixed payment, while we take over their invoicing and collection processes. Co-founded by seasoned executives in the education and private equity industries, with experience in firms such as Lottus Education, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Advent International and Cerberus, and studies in Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School, and London Business School, We are backed by leading global fintech and edtech investors, including Fintech Collective, Dila, QED, GSV, and Picus, among others.

About the role

We're searching for someone passionate about technology and love optimizing processes. As an Operations Tech Analyst, you'll combine your technical expertise with analytical skills and a strategic mindset to strengthen mattilda's operations. What you’ll be doing:

• Own Ops Projects: From idea to execution, you'll make sure everything runs smoothly, managing key projects.
• Problem-Solving Extraordinaire: You'll spot risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement, always looking for the best solutions to prevent issues.
• Process Pro: You'll find opportunities to automate tasks, boosting efficiency and slashing execution times.
• Code Whisperer: Analyze and optimize code to ensure our tech solutions are always top-notch.
• Tech Guru: Stay on top of the latest trends, propose innovative solutions, and even teach us a thing or two.
• Support & Feedback Channels: Design seamless interactions with customers and stakeholders, enhancing their experience.

Who you are:

• Studying Engineering: Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field, even if you’re wrapping up your final year.
• Languages spoken here? Python 3.x and SQL (advanced).
• Excel, PowerPoint, Word: Masters of these are welcome.
• Bilingual Bonus: English and Spanish fluency.
• Proactive, Problem-Solving Attitude: You’re the one who sees opportunities where others see issues.
