Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are seeking an elite, hunter-focused Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition for a premier London-based Managed Service Provider. This is a high-impact role designed for a sales professional who thrives on autonomy and possesses a deep understanding of the MSP ecosystem. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle—from self-generating leads to closing complex deals involving Microsoft 365 and cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions. If you are a proactive closer who wants to be backed by a world-class technical presales team and rewarded with an uncapped, multi-year commission structure, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively source and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, LinkedIn, networking, and industry events.
  • Full-Cycle Sales: Own the sales process from initial discovery calls to final contract signature, effectively managing a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Solution Architecture: Collaborate closely with the presales and technical teams to scope bespoke solutions, produce high-quality proposals, and address technical Q&A.
  • Strategic Presentation: Confidently present managed IT and security services to non-technical stakeholders and C-suite decision-makers.
  • CRM Management: Maintain meticulous records of all sales activity and provide accurate revenue forecasting to leadership.
  • Market Expertise: Stay ahead of trends in cybersecurity (SOC, MDR) and Microsoft 365 to act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients.
  • MSP Experience: Extensive experience selling for a Managed Service Provider is essential. You must understand the nuances of recurring service contracts and IT support models.
  • Product Knowledge: Proven track record selling Microsoft 365 solutions and comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., Cyber Essentials).
  • Lead Generation DNA: Demonstated ability to build a pipeline from scratch without relying solely on inbound leads.
  • Closing Capability: A history of meeting and exceeding sales targets within the technology or professional services sector.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business owners.

Nice-to-Haves

  • An established professional network within the London business community.
  • Experience selling into specific verticals such as Hospitality, Retail, or Regulated Professional Services.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards like ISO 27001 or GDPR.
