Job Summary
We are seeking a Junior Accountant with prior experience in the UAE to support daily accounting operations, VAT compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, organized, and comfortable working with accounting software while maintaining strict compliance with UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple client accounts
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank and ledger reconciliations
- Prepare and assist with UAE VAT filings and compliance requirements
- Generate financial reports and maintain supporting documentation
- Assist with audit preparation and internal financial reviews
- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, and relevant authorities when required
- Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with UAE accounting standards
- 2+ years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and compliance
- Experience using accounting software such as Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication skills and professional work ethic
