The Role
As a BDR Team Lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping our outbound business development function. This is a hands-on role, combining your expertise as a Business Development Representative (BDR) with the opportunity to lead and develop a small team. You’ll be responsible for driving outbound sales, setting up efficient processes, and creating a foundation for long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-On Selling: Actively generate outbound leads, qualify prospects, and book meetings for the sales team to ensure a steady pipeline of opportunities.
- Process Setup: Establish efficient and scalable workflows, tools, and metrics for outbound business development.
- Team Building: Hire, onboard, and mentor a small team of BDRs in Budapest, ensuring they are set up for success.
- Leadership: Lead the BDR team by example, providing guidance, support, and motivation while maintaining your own individual contributor responsibilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Sales and other departments to align outbound strategies with broader company goals.
- Reporting: Monitor team and individual performance metrics, sharing insights and progress with the Head of Sales.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a BDR, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding outbound sales targets.
- Strong organizational and process-development skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
- While managerial experience isn’t essential, a passion for mentoring and leading others is key.
