Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially savvy Group FP&A Manager to lead financial planning and analysis across both our Digital and Campus entities in the US and UK. You will report to the CFO and will work closely with senior leadership, including the CEO, and interface with the board and prospective investors to ensure that data-driven insights guide decision-making and that strategic priorities are translated into measurable financial plans.
This is a high-impact role requiring someone comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment with multiple revenue streams, international operations, and a mission-driven ethos. You’ll be instrumental in building a world-class FP&A function across our two business models, driving profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
You will also play a pivotal role in supporting investors due diligence for fundraises (VC, PE and debt financing) and managing investor reporting. Prior experience supporting capital raises and producing financial insights and materials for investors is highly desirable.
What you will be doing:
- Lead all Group budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles across both Campus and Digital businesses.
- Develop and manage consolidated Group financial models, scenario analysis, and long-range plans to support strategic decision-making.
- Deliver monthly financial performance reviews and KPI dashboards for senior leadership, board-level reporting and investor reports.
- Provide commercial and financial analysis to support investment decisions, new market entry, pricing strategies, and product expansion.
- Build customer Pro Formas to project EBITDA, inventory requirements, accounts receivable and debt levels, working closely with the CFO and wider finance team.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Product, Operations, and HR to align strategic plans with financial goals.
- Confidently work alongside and interface with key stakeholders including the CEO, board of directors and prospective investors.
- Create transparency and accountability through improved forecasting accuracy, variance analysis, and business insights.
- Help embed a performance-driven culture by aligning financial targets with company OKRs.
- Support integration of acquisitions, especially in aligning reporting structures and systems between the US and UK entities.
- Continually improve and automate reporting processes and tools (e.g., via Excel, iplicit , and other BI tools).
What we are looking for
Must have:
- Proven FP&A experience (5+ years), ideally in a high-growth, multi-entity or international organization.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate financial insights into business strategy. - Expert Excel modelling and financial planning skills; experience with planning tools and systems a plus.
- Deep understanding of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, and working capital dynamics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of influencing senior executives.
- Analytical mindset with a bias for action and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Experience navigating dual-region (UK/US) finance structures or multiple revenue models.
Good to have:
- Experience in edtech, retail, SaaS, Fintech or education services.
- Familiarity with iplicit (or similar) and modern BI tools.
- ACA/CIMA/CPA qualification or equivalent.
- Previous exposure to PE-backed or VC-backed environments.
